At Naqaash Foundation, our mission goes beyond teaching skills—we aim to ignite transformation. Every workshop, every training, and every interaction is designed to help women discover their potential and step into their power.
Through hands-on jewellery-making workshops, marketing and financial literacy sessions, and entrepreneurship development programs, women don’t just learn how to create—they learn how to lead.
The women gain more than just technical skills—they gain the confidence to stand tall, the independence to make their own decisions, and a renewed sense of purpose that radiates through their families and communities. At Naqaash, empowerment is not limited to learning a craft; it’s about unlocking the strength within every woman to shape her own future and inspire those around her.We work with women from underserved areas—urban and rural alike—ensuring that those who are too often overlooked are finally seen, heard, and equipped to thrive.
Because at Naqaash, empowerment isn’t a moment. It’s a movement.
From Training to Transformation: Naqaash Foundation’s Women’s Empowerment Model
Naqaash Foundation empowers women through a comprehensive, multi-tiered approach designed to create long-term economic independence. The Foundation provides underserved girls with hands-on training in jewellery making, skills development, and basic marketing—equipping them with the capabilities needed to build sustainable livelihoods. Their handcrafted pieces are then showcased on Tsafira, an Instagram jewellery brand founded by Sana Umair to offer a dedicated platform for emerging artisans. Through this integrated model, Naqaash Foundation not only nurtures creative talent but also connects women to real market opportunities, enabling them to transform their skills into meaningful income.
Visit to the French Embassy Lahore on Women Empowerment and Financial Inclusion
Miss Sana Umair recently conducted a visit to the French Embassy in Lahore to engage in meaningful discussions on advancing women empowerment, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship in Pakistan. The meeting focused on exploring collaborative opportunities and identifying practical ways in which joint initiatives can support women’s economic participation and leadership.
During the visit, key areas of cooperation were discussed, including capacity-building programs for women entrepreneurs, access to finance for women-led businesses, skills development, and mentorship opportunities. Emphasis was placed on designing sustainable and inclusive projects that can address existing gaps, particularly for women from underserved communities.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships, policy support, and cross-cultural collaboration in creating long-term impact. Potential project ideas included entrepreneurship incubation programs, financial literacy initiatives, and support mechanisms to help women scale their businesses.
The visit marked an important step toward strengthening collaboration between stakeholders and reaffirmed a shared commitment to designing impactful projects that promote women’s empowerment, economic inclusion, and entrepreneurial growth across Pakistan.
